SPAWAR Selects RAM Laboratories to Support Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection Program

San Diego, CA - December 2nd, 2004 - RAM Laboratories, Inc. announced that the company would support the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) System Center-San Diego (SSC-SD) in implementing the Information Management Pilot Project (IMPP) that will provide an effective collaborative Navy-wide scheme for Anti-terrorism Force Protection. The IMPP program will provide a shared Common Operational Picture that allows the Department of Defense, other government agencies, as well as state and local stakeholders to share expertise and information to improve situational awareness and mitigate terrorist acts.

"The complexity of providing our forces sufficient protection from terrorist threats is a daunting challenge. We are extremely proud that SSC-SD has selected our organization to assist in the prototyping of the IMPP system", said Dr. Richard MacDonald, RAM Laboratories President & CEO.

The effort will provide additional collaborative capabilities to the Regional Operations Center (ROC) for the Commander Naval Region Mid Atlantic (CNRMA), the Navy's regional command for a five state area responsible for the joint coordination of DOD, other government agencies, and support nodes including the Waterside Security Operations center (WSOC), the Sector Command Center Joint (SCC-J) a joint U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy facility, and various other ashore and afloat facilities.
