+ Software Engineer
BASIC FUNCTION:
RAM Laboratories is seeking a Software Engineer to support and assist its Navy customer. The candidate should be proficient in working with Fortran, ADA, and Assembler languages. The candidate should also be proficient in using Excel and a variety of databases, familiar with Link-16 hardware and software systems and be comfortable with developing and giving oral presentations on the status of engineering changes. The work will involve some international travel in support of various working groups.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review engineering and interoperability documentation
- Organize and lead discussions for Technical Working Groups
- Develop and present oral presentations regarding document status
- Track engineering changes
- Work with other engineering, configuration management, logistics and international personnel to coordinate release requests
- Provide written recommendations to the customer on engineering change issues
SKILLS
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and engineering tracking applications
- Software Engineering Experience with ADA, Fortran, and Assembler. In particular software troubleshooting experience.
- General Computer Knowledge (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Attention to detail
- Secret security clearance
- B.S. Degree and 5 years of experience in Navy C4I
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
