C4I Systems Engineering
RAM Laboratories has a proven track record of supporting the systems engineering and configuration management of various C4I systems, by developing engineering plans and drafting documents that aid in the development of ICD, DCAP, IATO, ATO, SSAA, and SSS. RAM Laboratories, aids in the composition, flexibility, sensor integration, shared awareness, and synchronized execution of C4I employment that outlines the tactical and strategic requirements of information and data exchange. RAM Laboratories staff has supported:
- Integration of COTS and GOTS hardware and software applications into a common C4I solution set
- Test and evaluation of C4I software applications
- Trade-studies to determine applicability, fitness, risk and fidelity of systems applications
- Hands-on Configuration Management (CM) expertise across large, multi-agency programs
- Shared situational awareness
Our systems engineering approaches required the research of Joint and Navy tactical tasks and identification of those measures of performance that were applicable to the C4I system objectives. Processes were managed to support the eventual compliance with composeable FORCEnet, the architect for an integrated, networked distributed combat force.
