Agent-based Simulation: RAM Laboratories has agent-based simulation technologies that coordinate simulation, calibration, and evaluation activities across distributed collaborative environments. Our agent-based solutions execute legacy-based simulations, provide an interface for interoperating simulations residing at disparate levels of fidelity, provide calibration mechanisms with disparate data sources, and provide an agent-driven capability to analyze results through custom and off-the-shelf analysis tools and engines. Our agent-based solutions have been implemented in support of our DSAP and CARET tools.
C4ISR Network Modeling and Analysis RAM Laboratories scientists and engineers have extensive network modeling and simulation expertise. Our engineers are experienced in using tools such as OPNET, QualNet, NS2, EXTEND, and Hyperformix Workbench, in addition to creating customized modeling solutions, to model fixed and mobile ad hoc network behavior with regard to QoS. Our staff has used these modeling environments to analyze routing algorithms, protocols, applications, and network performance for a variety of customers.
Mission Level Modeling: RAM Laboratories has extensive mission level modeling capabilities using a variety of modeling environments. Our engineers and scientists develop models and scenarios for diverse environments such as JSAF (Joint Semi-Automated Forces), ONESAF Objective System, and Business Process Modeling environments including EXTEND and Hyperformix Workbench. RAM Laboratories captures behavior for models and scenarios using DODAF OVs and SVs, and utilizes those models to assess operational objectives.
Abstract System Level Modeling: RAM Laboratories’ staff is skilled at developing abstract models of complex dynamic systems, including C4I hardware/software systems. Our abstract system level modeling approach reduces modeling complexity while streamlining computations, focusing processing cycles on those critical areas of the system requiring further examination.
Mixed Resolution / Mixed Fidelity Simulation: RAM Laboratories is an industry leader in providing solutions for mixing resolution within a given modeling paradigm. Our mixed resolution modeling solutions allow us to provide accurate, yet high performance, analyses of systems by examining critical areas at high levels of fidelity, while leaving non-critical areas at more abstract levels.
Parallel & Distributed Simulation: RAM Laboratories is recognized as a leader and innovator in the field of parallel and distributed simulation. Our staff led development of the CCSE simulation engine and has further pushed the envelope by releasing the RAM SimEngine to support optimistic parallel simulation. Our technologies take advantage of added processing power over these platforms through the use of advanced time management algorithms and the use of high performance communication libraries.
Predictive Simulation: RAM Laboratories provides a variety of techniques and algorithms to predict the state of missions, plans, networks, and physical phenomenae at future points of interest.
